COVID deaths daily average now at 1.4 in Bohol
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, March 23 (PIA) -- From Jan. 12 to March 23 of this year, 102 Boholanos have been added to the hundreds of COVID-19 victims since May 2020.
The daily death average by COVID-19 is now at 1.4 based on the data from the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
Based on the available records shared by the BIATF, COVID-19 deaths on Jan. 12 registered at 582.

On the same day, Bohol logged 14 active COVID-19 cases.
This is an increase of four new cases from the March 17 tally which only counted 10 cases based on the Reversed Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test measure for confirmed positive cases.
In March of last year, the highest number of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases was 224.
According to the EOC, of the 14 active cases on March 23, none have been monitored to have severe symptoms.
Seven of the 14 cases for the day are asymptomatic.
Of the 14 cases, three are in Carmen, three in Candijay and the towns of Lila, Calape, Tubigon, Sagbayan, Sikatuna, and Tagbilaran City.
Alburquerque and Loboc have single new cases.
Records also show that there is already a considerable easing of hospital admission in the new cases.
EOC said of the 14 new cases, four are on home isolation, two are on facility-based isolation, five are in the hospital for proper care, and three are now being tracked. (RAHC/PIA7 Bohol)
