CSE-PPT application opens April 12
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, April 4 (PIA) -- By April 12, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) opens its registration portals for the June 19 Career Service Examination Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for professional and sub-professional levels.

For Boholanos, the examination venue is in Tagbilaran City.
Open to private as well as those already employed in government service, the CSE this time entertains online applications only and is on a limited slot.
CSC Bohol Information Officer Liezl del Rosario said they would adopt a first-come, first-served basis.
“We will not be accepting any walk-in applications to ensure the health and safety of all concerned and to prevent the spread of coronavirus diseases,” del Rosario said.
While the registration portal opens from April 12-28, the CSC said they would close the registration when the slots have been filled.
On April 12, applicants would have to access the CSC link: https://ocseas.csc.gov.ph, sign up and create a user account in the link, and then access their email accounts to get the registration link and then click on the registration link to activate their accounts.
On the registration link in the redirected page, the applicant signs in using the credentials he used upon signing up, fills in the profile page, and click on update profile.
Then he must select examination schedule based on the CSC Field Office where he is taking the exam, classification, type of exam, and the testing center.
Applicant then has to read the admission and application requirements and then click on “Proceed,” browse through important reminders, and then click “apply now.”
The applicant can then start filling in the additional personal data and when finished, click on “Submit Application.”
Then the applicant shall access his email account to see if his application is approved or rejected.
If disapproved, he can re-file, re-apply or re-submit his application.
If the application is approved, the next step is for the applicant to set an appointment schedule by clicking on the calendar icon, select the preferred date of appearance and then click “submit.”
Then the applicant has to print the application forms with application numbers and the name of the evaluating officer visible and legible.
These the applicant brings on his appointment schedule to the CSC Field Office he is set to appear, where he will submit his application form and the hard copy of all the requirements.
During their appointment, applicants are reminded to observe the basic health and safety protocols including the mandatory proper wearing of face masks.
If on the scheduled appointment date the applicant fails to come, the CSC will cancel all data, so that the applicant would have to re-apply and start all over again.
As soon as the papers are submitted physically, the applicant will be issued an official receipt and the application receipt.
While the application is generally online, it is also automated and the slots, even when filled, could re-open anytime as an application is disapproved, but only as long as it is still within the application period. (RAHC/PIA7 Bohol)
