Celebrate Boholano culture, art every
Saturday at the National Museum Bohol

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol (PIA) — In celebration of Museums and Galleries Month (MGM) 2025, the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) Bohol brings back ‘Sabado Nights Sa Museo,‘ for all Saturdays of October.

“‘Sabado Nights Sa Museo’ is a weekend Crafts and Crops Bazaar that showcases Bohol’s vibrant culture and heritage,” said NMP-Bohol Information Officer Neil Gerard Paredes.
The NMP-Bohol is open to the public on all Saturdays of October (4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th), from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitors can enjoy traditional Boholano food and drinks on the azotea while supporting local artisans.
For food and beverages, the visitors can satisfy their cravings with Bohol Purple Women, Drincamona Beverages, Fruitix, Say Hey Food & Pastries, Gly.co, C8 Food Box, and SNP Nook.
For arts and crafts, one may celebrate creativity with Bohol Pop Contemporary Visual Artists Group, Studio Anna & Art by Teo, Ymmylyn Arts, Bohol Gansilyo Community, MAJU Arts and Crafts, and Crafty Cut.
Visitors may also bring home handmade finds from DYNA 3D, Makata Shirts, Candy Selection, Etched Creatives, Book Stacks, SHOP.DIZYOULOVE, Bons, Puella Studio, and Drincamona Photo Booth.
Museum enthusiasts will also be inspired by cultural and live performances from Tadiyúndi ka’lektiv, Bohl Buskers, Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School, and Tagbilaran City Science High School.
MGM, celebrated every October in the Philippines, honors the nation’s museums and galleries while fostering national pride and consciousness. It highlights the vital connection between art, culture, and nation-building.
This year’s celebration carries the theme, “Resilient Museums and Galleries: Educating for Preparedness and Recovery.” (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)
