Bohol’s newest attraction: Island
cruise on board a world-class yacht
TAGBILARAN CITY, May 21 (PIA)--Aside from the tarsiers, the Chocolate Hills and Panglao Beach, Bohol recently introduced its newest attraction – island cruise on board a world-class yacht.
DreamCat Marine Adventure Inc. launched on Saturday “DreamCat,” a yacht which will do island cruise around the province.
The solar-powered yacht can accommodate up to 77 guests and they will find comfort and space as well as do wholesome activities as it has a large bar with 2 professional grills, a Jacuzzi, a shower room and a professional sound system with karaoke facility and a large TV screen.
This P600-million yacht will be manned by seven crew headed by Capt. Jose Correos.
With the size of 25 meters in length and a width of almost 10 meters, all features and equipment are state-of-the-art.
It has almost all the technical equipment one will find on a much bigger cruise ships like the radar, sonar, GPS, and an ASI radio system that can contribute to the safety of the guests.
Martin Focht, one of the owners said during the launching that their company will finalize soon the available routes of the cruise.
According to Focht, the yacht can take guests around the province like Balicasag Island, Pamilacan Island, Cabilao Island, Anda and even to the neighboring provinces like Oslob and Mactan in Cebu, Apo island in Negros Oriental and to Siquijor island.
A night cruise along Tagbilaran Bay will also be part of the yacht’s itinerary.
Regular rate will be at P4,500 but they will be offering introductory rate at P3,600 per person for a six hour cruise, inclusive of food and drinks and use of amenities.
The maiden cruise is tentatively set on June 1.
