‘3 Pointer ng Bayan’ visits
Garcia Hernandez, Bohol

Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar rallied the residents of Garcia Hernandez and nearby municipalities to support the Duterte administration’s “3-Pointer ng Bayan,” an advocacy against illegal drugs, criminality and corruption.

He led the advocacy's three-point shootout, which was participated by some of the best shooters from select barangays.

In the end, Lawrence John Llemit of Malinao emerged champion, besting 10 others.

Michael Arjay Naldoza of Tabuan and Russel Ranario of East Canayaan bagged the second and third places, respectively.

Joining the PCOO Chief in the event were Bohol 3rd District Cong. Arthur Yap, Agusan del Sur 1st District Congresswoman Ma. Valentina Galido Plaza, Garcia Hernandez Mayor Tita Baja Gallentes, Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell ‘Baba’ Yap II, and Garcia Hernandez Vice Mayor Lito Dajalos.

Mayor Gallentes has earlier expressed her support for the 3-Pointer ng Bayan.

She noted, “We conduct summer trainings to our youth to produce best athletes who excel in their own field of sports. Like this initiative by the national government, we want to hone committed youth leaders as we declare our town drug free.”

The 3-Pointer ng Bayan continues to make its rounds across the nation. It is usually helmed by Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go, who is widely credited with the inception of the advocacy. (PCOO)
