465 promoted police officials
In Bohol sports new ranks

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol March 27 (PIA) – Four hundred sixty five Boholano policemen and women stepped up in their ranks following rigorous evaluation and showing of accomplishments, in this year’s rounds of promotions, according to Police Community Affairs and Development Unit head Lieutenant Colonel Norman Nuez.

Speaking at the weekly police community affairs program Strategic Information Broadcasting through the Internet and another Access (SIBIA), Col Nuez said 19 of these men are commissioned officers (PCO) of the force while another 446 are now police non-commissioned officers (PNCO).

While the donning and pinning of ranks increases one’s responsibilities, and so is the pay-grade.

During the donning of ranks ceremony at Camp Francisco Dagohoy Parade Grounds, Bohol Police Provincial Director Police Colonel Lorenzo Batuan joined families and relatives of these promoted officials in thanksgiving even as he urged everyone to continue with the commitment in service and protection of the people.

Promoted police commissioned officers are Police Major Neon Francis B. Alvarez, PMAj John Khalev Sanchez, Capt ose Leander Velasquez, PLt Roger A. Abad, PLt Amado A Amba, PLt Rogelio A. Baluran, PLt Rolando B Binangbang, PLt Jose Bongator, PLt Crisanto S. Bonghanoy.

PLt Francis > Briones, Plt Conrado A. Butil, PLt. Edilberto B. Calipes, PLt. Joselito A. Justol, . PLt Joel R. Ompoc, PLt Jose S. Pogoy, PLt Cynthia J. Salon, PLt Edwin Joseph S. Silagan, PLt. Elma L. Sumaoy and PLt Dionilo L. Tapang.

For the PNCO,s pinned and donned their ranks include 48 Police Executive Master Sergeants, 74 Police Chief Master Sergeants, 50 Police Senior Master Sergeants, 143 Police Master Sergeants, 78 Police Staff Sergeants and 58 patrolmen.

Also joining Col Batuan during the ceremonies were Deputy Provincial Director for Administration Police Lieutenant Colonel George Vale, Deputy PD for Operations PLtCol Mark Gifter Sucalit and Provincial Staff Directorate and Provincial Administrative and Resource Management Unit (PARMU) chief PLtCol Hernann Legaspi, Provincial Intelligence Unit Chief PLtCol Joemar Pumarejos, Provincial Operations and management Unit Chief PLtCol Joseph Berondo, PCADU Chief LtCol Nuez, Strategy Management Unit Chief PLtCol Mercedarius Balabat III, Public Protection Unit Chief LtCol Cesar Misola and Police Major Bonifacio Lucerna.
