‘Sandugo sa Bohol’ celebration
By: Elvira Bongosia

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol (PIA) — Food lovers, tourists, and locals are in for a treat with the best of Bohol’s culinary and cultural delights as the Sandugo sa Bohol Fusion Nights Fiesta 2024 is set to open on July 19 in Bantawan at the Tagbilaran City Old Airport.

Now on its 9th year, Fusion Nights promises a variety of food offerings, from international cuisines to “Sariling Atin” – Bohol’s version of authentic Filipino food from various tourism and food establishments.

It will also feature a series of exciting activities and entertainment every night.

This culinary event is organized by the provincial government of Bohol through the Bohol Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (BEDIPO) and in partnership with the Bohol Association of Hotels Resorts and Restaurants (BAHRR).

Thirteen establishments will headline this year’s culinary hub, namely, Best Western Plus, The Ivy Wall Resort Panglao; The Bellevue Resort; Kew Hotel; House of Lechon; The Lemon Co; Cameros Cakes and Desserts; Danny’s Dine and Wine; FCF Jai Ho Indian Resto; Booze Mobile Bar; K-bimboy Korean Resto; Mix Eat; The Shawarma Shack; and Hukad.

BEDIPO will have its own booth that will feature startups that are being supported by its programs.

This year’s Fusion Nights, which will until Aug. 2, is one of the highlights of this year’s bigger, bolder, and new Sandugo sa Bohol celebration under the ‘Tabo’ stream.

The annual culinary feature event was launched in July 2014 as the International Fusion Nights – a product of a challenge to make the Sandugo Festival more exciting and attract greater attention after the province was struck by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake back in 2013.

This showcased the resiliency of the Boholanos and their commitment to rapidly recover and build back Bohol better as a tourism and investment destination. (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)
The Fusion Nights, now on its 9th year, aims to bring people to a hub where they can taste the best offerings of hotels, resorts and restaurants in Bohol without having to go to the resorts in Panglao or famous city restaurants and spend much. (BEDIPO/ECB/PIA7-Bohol)
