CSC hands out unclaimed
eligibilities here April 7-8

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol (PIA)— For two days next week, Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office 7 hands out for free Certificates of Eligibility (COE) for CSC Examination passers in 2022 to 2024, who have not claimed their certificates yet.

CSC Bohol information Officer Zerah Eliez Sanches said, this April 7 and 8, CSC would be releasing unclaimed COE for passers of both Professional and Sub-Professional eligibilities from 2022-2024, at the Auditorium of the Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center.

Through “CSC at your doorstep: Bringing CSC services to its clients,” the office brings to the same venue its other services like issuance of authenticated COE for P50 per copy and would accept applications for Special Eligibilities (SPEL), she added.

The CSC recognizes the hassle and the expenses of people who have go to the field offices and wake up early, that this time, bringing the service to the clients is the least the agency can do.

By law, the CSC can also hand out career service grants of special eligibilities (SPEL) to barangay officials who completed at least one term, barangay health worker who completed 5 years of voluntary service, honor graduates, sanggunian members who have served an aggregate period of 6 years and scientific and technological specialist eligibility for people who can sufficiently prove their records for such.

The CSC can also grant eligibility pursuant to CSC MC 11 s. 1996 Category 2 or the required eligibility for which can be obtained by completing one year of very satisfactory actual work performance under temporary status of appointment, and Electronic Data Processing Specialist Eligibility as per CSC Resolution 90-083.

Clients for this service however need to fill in an application and submit the necessary documents to prove that they are eligible for the eligibility applied.

On that day, CSC also grants request for eligibility examination records, Certificate of no pending case, and non-conviction of any offense, to clients who could be within the 150 persons served for the day in the two-day outreach, Sanchez said.

In fact, CSC says on those days, the CSC field office services are suspended to give way to the out of field office outreach.
