ATI-7 recognizes partner farms
supporting training, technology adoption
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol (PIA)--The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center VII (ATI-7) has recognized nine new and renewed Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs) for their role in bringing training, technology and innovation directly to farmers and fishers.
LSAs serve as venues for hands-on training, on-site technology demonstrations, and peer learning, helping farmers adopt innovations that improve productivity, enhance product quality and increased farm income.
ATI-7 OIC Center Director Vianney T. Ojerio, together with Partnerships and Accreditation Services Section (PASS) Chief Merigine Otara, led the awarding of certificates to the following LSAs in Bohol:
Bakongkong Nature Park in Buenavista, 4H Club Island Green Project – SAOVESS in Calape, Treetopz Farm Escapade Diversified Farm Learning Site, Inc. in Albuquerque, Don Alberto’s Rice Farm in Carmen, Ballocas Family Farm in Ubay, and Joseph Agricultural Farm in Ubay.
LSAs outside Bohol were also recognized: Suba Integrated Eco Farm in Medellin, Cebu; Sustainable Energy and Enterprise Development for Communities (SEED4COM) in Talisay City, Cebu; and CAGRI Complex Learning Farm (Rice-based Farm) in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
Ojerio emphasized that service and accountability remain central to ATI’s mission of supporting the agriculture sector.
“Loyalty in ATI is not passive. It is lived every day through action. It is seen when our people show up, deliver results, and serve our farmers with sincerity and excellence,” he said.
He added that service is the heart of their work, and accountability guides every program implemented and every public resource used.
“When loyalty is put into action, service becomes meaningful, and accountability strengthens trust. This is how we drive agricultural excellence, not only through plans and policies, but through people who choose to serve with integrity, responsibility, and purpose,” Ojerio added.
ATI-7 also recognized personnel for their years of service, including employees marking a decade in public service and contract-of-service staff whose continued work supports the agency’s programs.
The activity concluded with a commitment-signing ceremony for organizational targets, reaffirming ATI-7’s pledge to deliver responsive training and extension services that advance Philippine agriculture. (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)
