Invest in PAG-IBIG,
And don’t go 'sawi'
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, December 18 (PIA)—Invest in PAG-IGIG and do not go sawi.
Home Development Mutual Fund, or better known as Pagtutulungan para sa kinabukasan: Ikaw, Bangko, Industriya, Gobyerno (Pag-IBIG) Fund urges members to get into a win-win upgrade of their membership contribution and save much bigger in the end.
Moreover, the social protection fund also dangles a chance to win a cool million, half a mil, a quarter or 100,000 plus some 12 lucky winners of smartphones.
The catch however is: members need to upgrade and save not lesser than P600 per month from July 2018 until March 31, 2019 for them to earn a raffle ticket for each P600 a month upgraded savings.
By upgraded, PAG-IBIG Bohol Branch Office Felix Garan meant, from the regular contribution of P100 from the worker and another 100 from the employer, the upgrade means P600 from the worker and 100 from the employer.
Every time a member upgrades to P600, he earns a raffle ticket which qualifies him to the one million bounty, Garan shared.
The scheme is part of the modified PAG-IBIG Dagdag Ipon part 3, which still allows non-winning entries to earn dividends from his savings, he added during the recent Kapihan sa PIA.
How does one get into the raffle?
According to PAG-IBIG, one must visit www.pagibigfund.gov.ph and register online using personal PAG-IBIG membership Identification (MID) and update the information needed.
The promo is just a part of the schemes PAG-IBIG adopts to heap up its funds and allow bigger shares of dividends for its members, added PAG-IBIG Bohol information officer Leonardo Cirujales, during the forum on air.
Among PAG-IBIG’s mandates are to prop up the social funds with its savings program, one which capacitates it to serve for its second mandate: housing development assistance for its members.
Members can also avail of the HDMF’s housing assistance in several forms: from lot purchase, house construction, home improvement to full unit purchase at a very low interest rates.
There is this very easy scheme that allows one to own a house instead of be tied to a monthly rental which does not allow him to own the house, Garan illustrated.
At a monthly rental of P5,000, one still con not get to own the house, but at PAG-IBIG, that amount can already allow one to own a house, he said.
For this, interested members can visit PAG-IBIG Office at Galeria Luisa in Tagbilaran or at their newly opened Member Services Office in Ubay during office hours.
UBAY MSO also offers membership and employer registration, change of information, accepts request for transfer of records and consolidation, multi-purpose or calamity loan processing, total accumulated value inquiries, house loan application and counseling as well as provident benefit claims acceptance. MSO Ubay, according to Cirujales, serves Bohol’s second and third district, where members have the facility to come to a closer service office. (rahc/PIA-7/Bohol)
